Abstract
Eddy covariance measurements performed at Reeves Neve glacier (1200 m ASL)during the Antarctic summer 94/95. The measurements started on 24th November1994 and stopped 7th January 1995. The instrumentation was constituted by aGill triaxial sonic anemometer model research (Gill Instr., U.K.), and aKrypton hygrometer KH 20 (Campbell Scient., U.K.). The raw data were collectedat 21 Hz and sent via RS422 serial output to a PC. The signals were stored indigital forms (11 bits) on floppy disks of 20 Megabytes and processed off line. The reason for collecting fast response sonic anemometer and humidity data isto compute eddy covariance estimates in order to obtain the surface fluxes aswell as latent and sensible heat fluxes and other micrometeorologicalquantities.
